We are seeking a skilled Senior Manager – Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. You will play a key role across the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security of applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable backend systems and microservices architecture
  • Manage tasks across the software development lifecycle from design to deployment
  • Ensure application performance, uptime, scalability, and responsiveness
  • Maintain high standards of code quality, documentation, and system design
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements
  • Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
  • Implement security and data protection measures, including secure authentication (SSO)
  • Develop and maintain backend applications, APIs, and services
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, and regulations
  • Stay up to date with modern technologies and continuously improve systems
Requirements & Competencies:
  • Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in backend/software development
  • Strong experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL
  • Proficiency in API development (REST, RPC, SOAP) and microservices architecture
  • Experience with Git, Maven, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Azure or AWS)
  • Experience with SSO solutions (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML)
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ) is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Fluent in Kazakh, Russian, and English, with good organizational and time-management abilities
