Job summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our Technical Office team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance across CAPEX and OPEX projects, conducting site inspections, monitoring contractors’ quality performance, managing NCRs and corrective actions, and supporting testing, commissioning, and project handover. If you have a strong background in QA/QC and construction quality control, with a commitment to high standards and attention to detail, we would be excited to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality assurance and quality control across CAPEX and OPEX projects.
• Conduct site inspections and verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs and method statements.
• Review quality documents, material approvals, inspection requests and test procedures.
• Identify and manage NCRs, defects, corrective actions and punch lists.
• Witness testing, commissioning and functional checks.
• Verify quality documentation and support project handover.
• Prepare QA/QC reports and escalate quality risks affecting safety, operations, cost or schedule.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers and relevant airport departments.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in QA/QC, site inspection, construction supervision or engineering quality control.
• Experience in infrastructure, airport, civil, MEP or large facility projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, method statements, NCR/CAR management, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, BOQs and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 principles and relevant construction standards.
• Strong communication, reporting, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• MS Office skills; experience with EDMS, SharePoint, Aconex or similar systems is an advantage.
• Russian, Kazakh and English languages.
• Relevant QA/QC or ISO 9001 certification is an advantage.
