🎯 About the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Analytics Department. You will be responsible for configuring data flows, building data layers and own database administration.

📝 Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines between data sources and the data warehouse for the analytical database.
• Design and build database layers (Bronze / Silver / Gold) within the agreed architecture.
• Design reliable data pipelines and maintain data flows between data sources and databases, including MariaDB and ClickHouse.
• Database administration: installation, configuration, access management, backup, and recovery.
• Monitor performance and optimize queries, indexes, and data pipelines.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy, check loading failures and resolve related issues.
• Prepare data layers for the Power BI data model within the agreed architecture.
• Maintain documentation covering data pipelines, database layers, and database configurations.

⚡ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or Database Administrator (DBA).

• Experience with DBMSs administration (e.g., MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or equivalent), including backups, access permissions, maintenance and monitoring.

• Strong SQL: complex queries, window functions, stored procedures, and query optimization.

• Experience building ETL processes using Airflow, dbt, NiFi, or equivalent tools.

• Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation.

• Experience with Git and CI/CD.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Yandex Cloud, or equivalent services.

• Languages: English (intermediate, technical)
