Nauchsoft, an international software development and IT consulting company, is looking for a full-time Lead Automation QA Engineer. We have been in the IT business for 37 years and continue growing.

We are looking for an experienced Middle AQA Engineer to join a long-term enterprise project for a company operating in the telecommunications and digital services domain.
The team works from 11:00 to 20:00 (GMT+3).

Technical Environment:
  • Test Automation: Playwright, TypeScript, WireMock
  • CI/CD: Bitbucket Pipelines
  • Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes / AWS EKS
  • Backend: PHP / Symfony
  • Frontend: React
  • Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis
  • Cloud: AWS
  • AI Tools: Claude and other AI assistants
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and improve automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Extend and improve the existing test automation framework.
  • Create and maintain automated UI, API, and end-to-end tests.
  • Analyze requirements and identify scenarios suitable for automation.
  • Prepare and maintain test data.
  • Investigate failed automated tests and identify root causes.
  • Improve automation coverage, stability, and maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established automation standards and best practices.
  • Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Use AI-powered tools to support test development, debugging, analysis, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with manual QA engineers, developers, Product Managers, and other team members.
  • Participate in technical discussions and contribute ideas for improving QA automation processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 2+ years of practical experience in test automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript / JavaScript.
  • Practical experience with Playwright or strong experience with another modern web automation framework and willingness to work with Playwright.
  • Good understanding of web services and API principles REST / SOAP + practical experience with them.
    Practical experience with OpenAPI / Swagger documentation and Postman or similar tools
  • Good understanding of test automation principles and framework structure.
  • Experience with API testing.
  • Experience with end-to-end testing of web applications.
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and experience running automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good knowledge of software testing principles, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze automated test failures and troubleshoot issues independently.
  • Experience working with Git and code review processes.
  • Practical experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar as part of daily engineering activities.
  • Proactive approach, attention to quality, and willingness to improve existing automation solutions.
  • English level B2 or higher.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with WireMock or similar mocking tools.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with AWS / EKS.
  • Experience with Bitbucket Pipelines.
  • Understanding of PHP-based applications.
  • Experience testing microservice-based systems and complex integrations.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
